When you wield it, its burning flames represent the bright light of your valor — and the all-consuming sacrifice that you have promised to make, should you be called to it.

History/Lore:
The Harpe is an ancient sword of the House of Lunaros dating back before the ratification of the Mantle of Responsibility and the establishment of the Forerunner Order. Formerly known as the "End of Night," the sword came to be recognized by its original user as more than a warrior's tool, but a weapon that possessed the warrior's heart. The blade was highly treasured and store away to serve as a reservoir of glory and honor that can be redeemed in times of great need. "Kingbreakers" were the label given to the cabals that inhabited the very first planet that stood in the way of Adonai's conquest. Although Adonai Lunaros would come to be known as a conqueror of a thousand worlds by way of force, Adonai attempted diplomacy before subjugation. In the few meetings between Adonai and the Kingbreakers, the lawless Kingbreakers made coordinated attempts on Adonai's life that were quick and violent. As a result, most of the Kingbreakers were eliminated, their weapons taken as trophies and smelted down into a single weapon that Adonai would come to wield, mostly for the symbolism. Known as Harpe, the very weapons once used in an effort to assassinate the King of Nibiru had become prized possessions for the Annunaki. It became a source of fiery passion for the Annunaki people, maybe even a symbol. It is, technically, the last piece of Adonai outside the Lunaros' own skin and tendons, and Mithras inherited this weapon as apart of his ancestry to the Lunaros.
Appearance:
In its dormant form, it's a disposable wooden broom that reads Harpe on the side when not in use. Once the broom is activated, it transforms into its true sword form, made alive with moonlight, translucent, a shard of crystal so thin that it seems almost to vanish when seen edge-on. There is a faint blue shimmer to the steel, a ghost-light that plays around its edges, though it is sharper than any razor.
Abilities/Traits: When another blade bites into the enchanted steel of Harpe, there is no ring of metal on metal; only a high, thin sound at the edge of hearing, like an animal screaming in pain. These are the tormented cries of the Kingbreaker's souls, which are sealed within the blade. As the swords meet again and again, your opponent will want to cover their ears against the strange anguished keening of their clash. The wielder of this blade will be able to summon the tormented spirits of three Kingbreakers (known as Cabal on their homeworld of Acrius); these five specifically due to their societal status on Acrius before they were shattered by Adonai. Once, the Kingbreakers devoted their existence to conquest and expansion, but their purpose was dwarfed underneath the great shadow of Adonai's ecumene. Now, they are eternally loyal to the wielder of this blade.
